The Commissioner Chebet Maikut emphasized the cooperation between the Ministry of Water and Environment and the Ministry of Education. He announced the modification of the curriculum at the European Climate Diplomacy Public Dialogue in Kampala, Uganda and used the occasion to point out the fact that it is the young people who need to be educated about the consequences of the climate change.

There are many factors playing a role for the students to learn about the many aspects of global warming. Finally, Maikut calls on the the transportation, energy, education, housing and other industries for the purpose of supporting the curriculum changes.
